Euang (euangaraya), an artist from BKKIF. Based in Bangkok, I’m a mixed media artist whose work blurs the boundaries between illustration, pastry art and sculpture. With a deep fascination for the everyday beauty found in kitchen, home, animals and garden, I illustrate these inspirations into edible artworks – pastries that serve as my canvas.

I am the founder of “Why Dough?”, a craft bakery that invite others into a world where food and art intertwine through pastries. Alongside my work in the bakery, I pursue illustration purely for personal fulfillment under the name “casa.euangaraya”. 

This year, I’ve been exploring illustration beyond the flat surface, using 3D clay sculptures as a new canvas for visual storytelling. By applying hand-drawn elements directly onto sculpted forms. This exploration naturally led me to combine illustration with other tactile mediums – including pastry and miniature sculpture – creating a unified practice that brings together food, form, and illustration into one continuous narrative.
